I opened the Kaplan Agency, in Wappingers Falls, NY, in 1999 after realizing how important it was to be able to give my customers options when choosing insurance for their individual needs. I am licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Health. As much as I love my work, baseball is my passion and I am an avid Yankee Fan. I also enjoy playing golf, tennis, traveling and spending precious time with my family.

Since joining our team in the Spring of 2014, Nancy learned the ropes of the Insurance business and added Office Manager to her title in 2018. She focuses on making our office a great place to work, while continuing to assist the Spanish speaking community with their insurance needs. She and her husband Mario have raised three children. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her Grandchildren, she also enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, photography, and the beauty of the great outdoors.

Natalie has been with Kaplan Agency since 2016 and is a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. Experienced in Commercial Lines support, she is a great resource for agency procedures, certificates, and a familiar voice for our clients. When she is not working, she is busy caring for her toddler, spending time with her husband and pet dogs. If ever she has free time, she enjoys time outdoors on her property in CT.

After graduating from The College of Saint Rose, Omar decided to dive into the insurance world. Since joining the Kaplan family two years ago, he has gained experience in his role as a customer service representative for both commercial and personal lines. Recently licensed, Omar is now concentrating on Commercial Lines Sales and Service. He has not lost his excitement for learning, if he’s not studying, you can find him going on adventures, listening to music, or spending time with his high school sweetheart!

Elizabeth recently joined our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. A welcome addition with a background in Business Administration Management and Insurance, she brings over 18 years of experience to our Commercial Lines Department. Licensed in Property & Casualty and fluent in Spanish. Liz and her husband Russ just moved from Long Island to the Poconos in Pennsylvania. She enjoys hiking, cooking, music, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Sara Montoro

Receptionist and Customer Service

Sara is our receptionist and customer service support. Her background is in financial billing software, with 15 years’ experience, specializing in healthcare insurance in the private & government sector.  Fluent in Spanish, Sara provides support to clients and staff, assisting with billing inquiries, payments, and inter office tasks. Sara is “Glad to be part of a team whose goal is to leave people feeling secure and protected.”
